Believing in Yourself – You Can Do It!

No matter who you are, from where you come from, what your past is, what your beliefs, which social group you belong to, whether you are poor or rich, whether you are male or female, none of that matters. The most important thing is that you believe in yourself.
The questions you need to ask yourself:

  • Do I believe in myself?
  • Can I do that/this?
  • Am I worth it?

The answer to these 3 questions should be – YES
If it’s not, then your problem lies in your insecurity, so let me try to help you with this quote.

“Insecurity kills more dreams than failure ever will.”

Suzy Kassem

That means: No matter how many times you experienced failure, you need to try again and again and again. The success in life or business is not measured by how many times you failed, but how many times you stood up and tried again. The next quote is the principle of how you need to think of everything you do in your life:

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Thomas A. Edison

The only way to experience a certain failure in your life is to give up. Don’t give up, it doesn’t matter if something in your life doesn’t seem right or you are in some kind of problems. There is always a way. Maybe you don’t see it, but it doesn’t mean it’s not there. Just keep trying and believe in yourself.

“You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude

toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather

then allowing it to master you.”

Brian Tracy

Surround yourself with positive people who believe in you and remove negative people from your environment. This will help you with much-needed motivation.

“The only real limitation on your abilities is the level of your desires. If you

want it badly enough, there are no limits on what you can achieve. ”

Brian Tracy

If you want the best investment in your life, then invest in yourself and the best place to start is education, so I suggest you get this book from Brian Tracy about how to set your goals:

What Do You Want To Achieve in Your Life – And When?

Every time, when we talk about what we want to achieve in life we always assume that we have all the time in the world for it.

The truth is that none of us know exactly how much time we have.

I want you to be aware of that every single day, and to do good thinkings about that, so I suggest you do something like this.
Draw a line, split it into 4 or 5 pieces and mark the ranges that suit you. In the picture below I divided into 4 parts and made a section of 20. The division represents years, and your task is to mark on that line where you are now.

Now mark how long your life will last. I know it’s not pleasant to think about mortality, but you need to get an idea of how much time you still have. Your time and your life are precious, so don’t waste time on unnecessary things.

When you have the exact picture in front of you, how much more time do you have, then you will start to get somewhere. Then you will be much more focused on what you want to achieve in your life, and if you are aware of it every day, no one will be able to stop you on the road to reaching your goal.

“If not us, who? If not now, when?”

John F. Kennedy

Then this phrase from John F. Kennedy will become real to you. When? If not now.

Now is the moment for you to take action over your life. So do it. NOW.

Goal is Not a Goal if it’s Not Written – Write Them Down

You want to achieve something in your life, but by no means, you can achieve it. If you do not write your goal somewhere, they will be hard to achieve it.

That is one interesting fact.

When you write down your goals and read them, something happening to you and your subconscious mind get in action to make you happy by finding all possible solutions to get your dreams come true. But not just that, when you have your goal written down, as you start moving toward your goal, your goal start to move toward you. That is a law of attraction.

Your goal must be clear, well-defined, relevant, specific, attainable, time-bound and measurable.

By that, I mean that when you write down your goals, you must write them in that way that you exactly know when do you will achieve them. Write specific date when you want something to happen. Then start to make plans how to achieve that.

Don’t write money on your goal list. Money by itself is not motivation, but only is just a means of achieving the goal.

Your goal must be something from your desire or dream list.

“Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time.”

Bob Proctor

Make a decision – write your goals down – divide them into smaller parts – make the plan of action – stick to it – achieve your goal

Dreams Do Come True – Visualize Them

When it comes to dreams, many people think of them as a sleeping process, so by day their mind sleep.

Dream by day and every day. Imagine yourself as if your goal has already been achieved. So you will have a much better picture of yourself, you will be much more motivated an

d inspired. Be like children who tell you their dreams about what they want to become and do not let anyone spoil your dreams.

Find pictures of your dreams and carry them with you or stick them on your mirror, on a refrigerator or put them on the TV or stick them to the wall. Let them be everywhere you can see them every time you get out of bed when you go to the bathroom when you want to eat something or look at something on your TV. Let them always remind you of what is your priority in life.

Conclusion

Always remember that you don’t have much time and you have to act now. Believe in yourself because you can do it. Set up your personal goals, write them down, make a plan and stick to it. Visualize them like they already accomplished and believe in them.

For the purpose of setting up your personal goals, I suggest getting a book from Brian Tracy to help you a better understanding of the process and start setting up your personal goals.
